How Scan To Pay Works
1. Get Pesapal Mobile
Go to the Google Playstore and download the Pesapal Mobile app.
2. Link Your Card
Register an account and securely link your Visa Card on the app.
3. Pay with Visa
Pay with Visa QR from multiple websites or at your local store.
4. Scan and Pay
Select Scan to Pay on the app; Scan, Pay, and Go!

Frequently asked questions
Scan to pay is a new feature on the Pesapal Mobile app. This feature allows you to send payments directly from your Visa prepaid debit or credit card account to all kinds of merchants and businesses that present a QR code online or at their point of sale using just your phone.
QR Code is a bar code displayed by the merchant which you scan to make payment. It contains the merchant service information that is required for the payment.
Download the Pesapal Mobile app, and securely link your card. Once you have done this, click on the ‘Scan to Pay’ option and scan the QR code whether online or offline. You’ll then be prompted to confirm the payment details, and authorize the payment.
You can Scan to Pay at any merchant store or ecommerce website that has the Visa QR payment option. All eCommerce sites that accept payments through Pesapal also accept Visa QR payments. Look out for the VISA QR code or ‘mVisa Accepted Here’ logo, at the checkout point both at the store or online.

No, ATM PIN is not required to complete the Scan & Pay transaction. All you need to do is securely add your active VISA card to the Pesapal Mobile app and opt in to Scan and Pay.
No, you don't need to register separately to make Scan & Pay transactions. You however need to opt in to make Visa on Mobile payments on your Pesapal Mobile app.

Yes. All merchants that accept payments through Pesapal will display the mVISA payment option on the checkout form. Once you click on mVISA, a QR code will be presented to you. You can then Scan and Pay.
